Add feature to Search by Status

Is it possible to add a feature to search by Status? This could be a "simple" solution for a "Local Document Organizer-like" feature (i.e. "I want to know which Files are checked out to me" -> Search by Status).

    Yes Please, there is a column ProjectWise status in the Drive extension that you cannot search in however. This would really help out a lot.
