Deliverables Management connection - View selection

When using the connection to select files to be sent on a transmittal the system does not pull the view that has been setup for the metadata to be transmitted and instead just shows the default metadata. Would it be possible that rather than showing the default view, that when using a PW connection it linked the metadata from the setup on the PWDM system to the view the users would see when selecting documents?
